Archeology and Nostalgia

In the contradictory and silent path that NOK is developing, the second exhibition dedicated to the english artist Richard Clements opens on monday 13th of december 2010.
The exhibition is set up as another tiny focus on the resignification of the narrative processes, inside and outside the artistic processuality wich is  the subject of the whole project.
Clemets’ work is indeed introvert, made of fragmented and fractured gaunt sculptures, that seem to us as the relics of a unbuiltable world or speech. These objects inevitably built a relation with us, layering history, everyday life and enigma.
NOK No One Knows is a project by Alessandro Castiglioni and is developed as an interlaced design between the production of a cinematic account by Dario Guccio and  Francesco Joao Scavarda, and a series of  exhibitions dedicated from time to time to one only work, that will be always linked to this metanarrative, to this diary, to this fiction.
NOK will gradually build itself through a constant exchange between these lines of investigation and a series of theoretical debates and meetings, lectures and projections meant to give more elements to reflect on in a sort of practise-community, where the dimension of meaning is selfgenerated, drawn on the fragments spread in space and time.

NOK NOK No One Knows is an investigation path, it is a reflection and dialogue space specifically thought for O’ project room, from 8th November 2010 to 1st April 2011, with guests and appointments alternating monthly

Monday 13th December, during the opening reception, boîte # 7 will be presented.
boîte, free press “in box”, ends its second year of life, focused on the dematerialization of the artwork, thinking over the contemporary experimentation.
boîte was born in 2009, from Federica Boràgina and  Giulia Brivio’s idea. The first numer was dedicated to Marcel Duchamp (the name comes from the M.D.’s Boîtes, where the artist put in notes about his materpiece  La Mariée mise à nu par ses célibataires, même) and other 3 were consacreted to different artistic techiniques: collage, drawing and photography.
boîte is online: www.boiteonline.org

Open Monday to Friday from 12.00 to 7.00 pm, closed on saturday and Holiday.
